About The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme[PYES]
The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme is a programme that was initiated under President Buhari-led administration. It aim is to empower the Nigerian Youth by providing them with empowerment opportunities thereby drastically reducing the rate of unemployment amongst Nigerian Youths.
The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme was introduced by the Federal Government of Nigeria to Empower various youths in all 774 local government areas in the country. The programme was introduced to tackle the unemployment issue in the country.
The program is to create at least 774,000 jobs meaning that at least 1,000 persons would be employed from each local government area in Nigeria.

P-YES Registration Requirements
The basic requirements you need to at least posses before you apply for PYES recruitment 2024. The Federal Government requirement is carefully listed for you below;
- Every applicant must be a Nigerian male or female between the ages of 18 and 40.
- Every Applicant must have a valid means of identification (National Identity card, International Passport, Permanent Voters Card- PVC).
- Every Applicant must provide a Second Level Beneficiary (SLB) to qualify for benefitting from the scheme.
- Each must have the Ability to communicate in Basic English language and or any local Nigerian language.
- Provable upright character and a stable mind.
- Applicant must provide a guarantor preferably a community or religious leader.
- Ability to secure the endorsement of a local government official.
- The beneficiary should possess the capacity to transfer knowledge and mentor pairs within their communities.
- Applicants Must Complete a guarantor’s form.
